Domesticate Surrealism: Chapter I
Immersive installation, 2026
Domesticate Surrealism: Chapter I begins an ongoing body of work exploring the emotional life of domestic objects. Through ceramic sculpture, furniture, and installation, familiar forms, chairs, tables, and vessels—move beyond function to become companions, witnesses, and keepers of memory.
Centered on a dining table, Chapter I imagines the home as a living emotional ecosystem. Two chairs face one another like distinct inhabitants, each with its own posture and personality. The work considers how objects carry intimacy, ritual, and identity: we shape the things around us, and in return, they shape our memories and sense of self.

Domesticate Surrealism: Chapter I
2026
Domesticate Surrealism invites viewers to reconsider the home not simply as a place we inhabit, but as a living environment shaped by reciprocal relationships between people and things. We shape the objects around us, yet they also shape our memories, emotions, and sense of self. In this first chapter, the domestic becomes an emotional ecosystem where every object functions as both witness and participant, encouraging us to imagine a world in which the things we live with are quietly alive.
